POPE FRANCIS GLOBAL ACADEMY VIRTUAL TOUR - outside spaces

With a huge parking lot on the backside of our main building, as well as a sprawling grass lawn in front and to the East side, we are never at a loss for outdoor space. Drop off and pick up are done daily off of Dakin, on a nice quiet, one-way street. It’s a Kiss-and-Go for the big kids while we ask parents of Pre-K and Kindergarten students to park in one of our other lots (on Irving Park) and walk their students to the door.

Outdoor recess is done in the giant lot behind the school, which is also where we host big events like the Annual Wolf Run (fun run fundraiser), and where we just celebrated our graduates with a big parade (SEE PHOTOS HERE)!

We host Field Day events on the front and East lawns, as well as Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Camp activities, Fire Safety presentations, and more!

A small gated area between the church and school is decorated at Christmas and is central to our Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
