What is Dual Language Immersion (DLI)?

DLI is a daily Spanish language program designed especially for young learners in Pre-K through K.

  • Daily Spanish Instruction

Pre-K thorugh 2nd grade students experience Spanish every day for about 30-40 minutes (vs. older grades: 2-3x/week)

  • Integrated into the School Day

Especially in Pre-K, Spanish isn't just a separate class - teachers weave Spanish into regular activities so children hear and use both English and Spanish naturally throughout the day.

  • Structured School Environment

Some families come from Spanish immersion daycares but want more structure and a true school setting. ECLIP offers strong early language exposure within a nurturing academic environment.

  • Research Based Curriculum

This multi-sensory method builds strong reading foundations by helping young learners see, hear, say, and physically experience each letter sound.

  • Partnering with Boston College

This collaboration supports our commitment to high-quality bilingual learning and prepares students to thrive in an increasingly connected world.

Research Shows...

Multi-age groupings in a classroom setting benefit both younger and older students. Older children have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and engage in more help-giving, problem-solving, and teaching behaviors. Younger children benefit from the assistance, nurturing, and modeling of positive behavior by the older students. This dynamic helps all children in the classroom increase their level of independence and competence.

With fun-filled, centers-based Pre-K classrooms, our program offers multiple program options that meet students and families where their specific needs lie.
