At PFGA, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is not an add-on — it is part of who we are. Our commitment to belonging, restorative practices, and character formation shapes the way students learn, interact, and grow every day. When conflicts arise, students are guided through reflection, accountability, and repair. Rather than focusing only on consequences, we teach students how to have Restorative Conversations. That includes:
- Take responsibility for their actions
- Repair relationships
- Grow from mistakes
- Strengthen communication skills
This approach helps children develop emotional maturity and resilience.

Early Childhood &
Elementary Spaces
Our youngest learners have classrooms on the main floor for easy access and comfort, while elementary students learn in bright, organized rooms designed for collaboration and independence. Students move throughout the building for enrichment, small group learning, lunch, and recess, helping them build responsibility and confidence.
Junior High That
Builds Independence
Junior high students follow a departmental model, moving between subject-specific classrooms for English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. This structure prepares them for high school while giving them strong support from dedicated teachers.
Faith-Informed
Character Development
Students attend weekly Mass at St. Pascal Church through a covered walkway that connects directly to the school. Many students serve as altar servers or choir members, and older students support younger ones through our Prayer Partner program, helping faith become a lived part of daily school life.
Rooted in Catholic values, SEL at PFGA emphasizes:

Students learn beyond the classroom in dedicated spaces throughout the building:
- A fully equipped Science & STEM Lab for hands-on experiments and engineering projects
- A large Gymnasium for PE, athletics, assemblies, and indoor recess
- Spanish, Art, Music, and Library rooms where enrichment classes happen weekly
Room To Move
Our campus includes multiple outdoor areas for recess, PE, field day, and school-wide events, along with a large fenced space used for summer camp and special activities. Inside, our lunchroom also serves as a gathering space for extended day programs and community events.
