Clubs/Activities/After School Enrichment
At Pope Francis Global Academy, we think it’s important to provide students with an opportunity to explore new interests, learn new things, develop leadership skills, and find ways to creatively express themselves. Clubs and activities enrich the academic program with a focus on the arts, technology, service and fun.
In recent years we have offered the following variety of clubs and activities. We are rolling out some of these programs again. Parents will be alerted when call outs for any of these activities will be happening.
Altar Servers – Training to serve during Masses and funerals
School Choir – Weekly practices and weekly participation in school Masses
Student Council – Officers and representatives chosen by election
Academic Team – Junior High
Yearbook Club
Broadcast Club – 4th-8th grade students trained to do the announcements
Karate/Martial Arts
Drama Club
Musical Theater
Guitar
Ukelele
STEM Classes
Lego Builders
Clay Play
After School Arts and Crafts
Running Club
We believe in offering students a range of activities to support their interests and growth as a person. As student interests change, we’ll be evolving our offerings.
Scouting Programs
While Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are officially parish activities, we recognize the value in these programs and would encourage any of our students to explore joining a troop at any of our founding parishes. We will add information as it is provided to us.
