The Mater Christi Council of the Knights of Columbus is set to sponsor its annual Youth Soccer Challenge.

All boys and girls ages 9-14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2017 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge.  The local competition will be held on October 14th from 10:00am - 12:00 pm at Pope Francis Global Academy/St. Pascals in the parking lot adjacent to West Dakin Street.  This event will be held in conjunction with the No Scare Haunted House, the Family Fun Fest, and the Fall Car Show all taking place that day at Pope Francis Global Academy School and St. Pascal Church. 

The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge is sponsored annually with winners progressing through local, district, and state competitions.  International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters in New Haven, CT, based on scores from the state-level competitions.  All boys and girls 9 to 14 years old are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective divisions.  All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event.  Participants will need parental consent.  Entry forms will be available at the event.  For additional information contact: Knights of Columbus Mater Christi Council #14284 - Timothy J.
